Re: Checksum headaches
It turns out that there is plenty of room on a Node MCU ESP8266 Arduino for the WiFi, REST/JSON, home-automation-controller API, LED driver and logic code plus the heat/cool/off command lookup tables. That plus I wrote an AnalysIR session file parser that decodes the ones and zeros (skipping header,...

Re: Checksum headaches
The hex format shown in the link seems to be different than what I have seen using AnalysIR. My guess is that if my AC unit is indeed a re-branded Midea unit then they are using some other bit map/protocol for the Blueridge brand than the one shown in the link. My solution was to make a couple of he...

Re: Change One/Zero colors
Sure! I would be glad to test it out.
It will sure beat going bleary-eyed looking at channel graphs!

Change One/Zero colors
I am partially colorblind and the One/Zero colors on the channel graphs are very difficult for me to see/differentiate. I see that the File|View Properties list has the colors listed as "Map '0' bits Colour' and "Map '1' bits Colour" but they are Read-Only. They currently default to B...

Re: Checksum headaches
Thanks for the ideas! I actually have 5 of these mini-split ACs in my metal-building workshop (it gets very hot here in Florida). My shop office temp is frequently at 32C. The main shop area gets up to 38C at times and takes the better part of an hour to cool down with the AC going full blast. You m...

Checksum headaches
I have been struggling for the better part of a week trying to reverse engineer the checksum algorithm for a Blueridge mini-split heat-pump AC that uses a YB1FAF remote. The model number of the indoor unit is BMKH09-D3DNA2D/I. I get the impression that the Blueridge unit is rebadged - maybe a Gree? ...

Re: IR learner VS IR receiver and how to send codes
>Otherwise, you can export the signals from AnalysIR in C code to send with IRremote on an Arduino (IRLib, PSOC & LIRC are also supported like this) The export options seem to output unformatted strings and not actual C code. Do I need to hand edit the hex code into a C code array or am I missin...

Re: Multi-select in the Session History grid
I bought a LearnIR module from you guys, so I am using that for snooping on IR transmissions now. AnalysIR seems to like it better
I will be repurposing my NodeMCU board as an IR transmitter soon.

Re: Multi-select in the Session History grid
Hi,
I am using a dedicated ESP8266 NodeMCU as an IR receiver. It seems to flake out if I use the "Arduino (default)" setting - lots of framing errors. It works great on the NodeMCU Serial setting of AnalysIR.
Best regards,
Kevin G. McCoy

Multi-select in the Session History grid
Hi! I am a registered user and love your product. I am a software developer and I have some ideas for AnalysIR improvement. I'd like the Session History grid a lot more if I could select more than one record at a time for deletion. Most windows grids allow Left-Click on a record to set a "ancho...
