Hi all,
as Xmas present for a friend of mine i'm building a remote IR control for air condition based on nodemcu with temp sensor and, obviously, an IR led emitter.
Thanks to an under cover operation i've recovered the information that the conditioner it's a samsung boracay series https://www.mtf-online.net/index.php/pr ... acay-ar-12 and the remote it's a DB93-15882Q.
The problem is that i don't have access to his remote for decoding the IR signals.
As far as you know, there are different IR protocols for samsung's AC?
They have already been decoded?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Stefano
Samsung AC ir signals
Re: Samsung AC ir signals
Without the remote, it will be very difficult & I don't have an example available.
Your best option would be to get a universal AC remote from aliexpress or ebay & try them to see if they can control your unit.
...only costs a couple of $ incl shipping.
Once you have the remote...you can then set about decoding/reverse engineering with the help of our tools.
Other than that maybe a search on GitHub, to see if anyone has tackled this remote?
If all else fails, purchase a new remote from the manufacturer.
Did you consider getting him to record the signals to send them to you for analysis?...a tough order for Xmas!
