AnalysIR not launching

This is my 1st post on this Forum. Please sorry if I make any mistake.
I am facing an issue with my AnalysIR copy.
The application stopped working. I cant make it launch anymore
I used to have it working with no problem since the beggining. I had it insalled on my PC, running Windows 10 and could use it many times with no issue.
Last time I used (like 1 week ago), I closed the applicatiion as usaual but when tried to launch it again, it does not launch.
I noticed that once i double click on the icon (or highlight the icon and press enter), the little blue circle appears, showing that it is trying to launch) and then, nothing happen.
On the windows "task manager", I see that it starts (it is listed on the tasks), but then disapear (looks like it is closed).
Apparently, there was an update on my windows 10, before it. I tried to revert this update but i couldnt.

My AnalysIR installation package is setup_AnalysIR_1161008109
My windows version is 10 - Version 1511 - Build SO 10586.589 - 64bits
PC: Lenovo i7-4500U 1.8GHZ 8GB RAM

@vagcar

Here are some things to try:
- Make sure there are no other AnalysIR tasks running and restart AnalysIR (Only one copy can run at the same time)
- Restart the PC
- Uninstall AnalysIR, restart the PC and then re-install AnalysIR

Let me know if this does not resolve the issue.

I already did this many time with same results, ie, not lauching.
I uninstalled AnalysIR, reebot the PC, Installed AnalysIR again, reboot PC again and it still the same, not lauching.
I also tryed to cleanup the windows registry (regedit) manually, removing any AnalysIR mentioning fro registry, then reboot PC, reintall, but still not working.
Any other tip?
Any log on windows that I can try to look for more information?

The next thing to try is:
- uninstall AnalysIR
- Rename the AnalysIR APPDATA directory to AnalysIRBACKUP
- Install AnalysIR again (It could be that some files were corrupted)
(the directory should be something like C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\AnalysIR


If that does not work I will send you instructions on how to turn on a special debug mode we have for troubleshooting.

Finally, let me know if there is anything unusual about you PC config (e.g.VM etc)

I have tried what you recommended.
1st try, i unistalled, went to C:\Users\myname\AppData\Roaming\AnalysIR and renamed this folder as Analysirbkp
Installed again but didnt work. I verified on the above path that the folder C:\Users\myname\AppData\Roaming\AnalysIR was NOT created again.
I then unistalled again, went to the C:\Users\myname\AppData\Roaming\AnalysIRbkp and completely removed this folder (i backed it up before and saved as zipped file).
Theninstalled again and agin, noticed that the folder was not created.
I then noticed that the program is being installed under folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\AnalysIR"
After the reinstallation, only folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\AnalysIR" and files under this folder exist.
The other folder is not created C:\Users\myname\AppData\Roaming\AnalysIR
Is that something wrong?

The application is normally installed into the "program files" directory.

On first run the "appdata" directory is created.

So if this is not happening, it means the app is not started.

Please check that your antivirus system is not blocking AnalysIR & if so insert an exception for AnalysIR.
Let me know which AV system you have running.

You should also check the system messages on windows to see if anything else is being reported. (Administrative Tools->Event Viewer on WIN7)

Good morning Support team.
As I was thinking, the problem was (most probably) on the Windows side. As I told, the problem started after a Windows update. I tried to roll back the Windows Update but it didn't complete and never rolled back.
This week MS has released the 1 year Windows 10 update package and after this recent update, the AnalsyIR is working fine.
