Hello, i've "designed" or more rather guestimated / blundered blindly around designing a circuit as an emitter for 3 IR Led's, i would appreciate any suggestions or alternative solutions that might be better or more easily implemented.
It's 3.3V from an ESP8266

It seems to function but i don't know nearly enough to evaluate it's quality etc.

Your circuit looks fine. Make sure the onboard 3v3 regulator can source the extra 169mA current, without damage.
However, if you sourced 5v into the IR leds, you could put 2 IR leds in series and increase the current, by reducing hte size of the resistors from 22r to 10r...this would save some components & increase IR power.
If you need 3 LEDs, then stick with your current design, which is fine.
FYI: we have recently launched a new IR shield for ESP8266/ESP32, using Wemos D1 Mini footprint, available via our store.

Great, thanks for the feedback, it's amazing how nervous i can get over a circuit with only a few low value componants!
It has to be 3 led's, so i guess i will just try and see if it's enough power.
